Airbnb, Caribbean Tourism Organization partner to promote tourism
Airbnb has partnered with the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) to promote member countries across Airbnb’s global community.
The partnership will begin with a marketing campaign of email newsletters and a landing page showcasing the CTO’s member countries’ respective safe travel protocols.
Airbnb will share data with the CTO, such as travel trends, to support marketing decisions during this recovery period
The promotional landing page will integrate 18 countries from the English, French and Dutch Caribbean, and promote homes in each destination as well as links to each country’s website.
"With the Caribbean continuing to reopen, we’re helping to usher in the safe return of travel by shining a light on the many places to see and things to do," said Carlos Munoz, Airbnb Policy Manager for Central America and the Caribbean.
Neil Walters, Acting Secretary-General of the CTO said: "The partnership with Airbnb will help us to promote the region responsibly by providing our members with a platform to showcase their destinations while at the same time highlighting the health safety measures that each has implemented."
This partnership follows similar collaborations with Bermuda Tourism Authority, Tourism KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa), the National Parks Foundation.
