Airline exec takes senior Sabre role
Airline executive Sean Menke has been named as the new executive vice president of travel-tech company Sabre Corp and president of its Sabre Travel Network.
Menke replaces Gregg Webb who becomes Sabre vice chairman.
Much-travelled Menke is joining Sabre next month from Hawaiian Airlines where he has served as executive vice president and chief operations officer since October 2014.
Menke is also a former CEO of Denver-based Frontier Airlines and has held executive positions with Air Canada, United Airlines, Western Pacific Airlines and America West Airlines.
"As a former airline CEO and information technology executive, Sean brings deep aviation, travel and technology industry experience and a proven track record of driving sustainable top-line growth, and he will be a great addition to our leadership team," said Sabre CEO Tom Klein.
