Several international carriers have suspended flights to Venezuela amid heightened risk over ‘increased military activity.’
It follows a NOTAM issued by the US Federal Aviation Administration for airlines to exercise caution over a ‘potentially dangerous; situation.

The FAA notice advised ‘caution when flying in the Maiquetía flight information region at any altitude.’
It claims it could pose a threat to commercial aircraft.
Iberia, TAP Portugal, Avianca Caribbean Airlines, GOL, LATAM and Turkish Airlines have postponed flights.
The NOTAM cites an increase in navigations systems jamming and interference in the Maiquetía region.
No US airlines fly to Caracas.
