Airport opens yoga rooms for stressed out passengers

Stressed out passengers at Frankfurt Airport can now use yoga rooms to help unwind.

Two dedicated rooms, open around the clock, will be free for travellers.

They are located in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, just past the passport checkpoint.

The rooms come with yoga mats, blocks, cushions and pads, and a floor-to-ceiling mirror to help users check their posture.

Videos screened on monitors explain exercises to music and there are also flyers with instructions on how to properly do the yoga poses.

A relaxed atmosphere is finished off with subdued lighting and a wall-sized Buddha.

Airport operator Fraport has introduced the rooms as part of its ‘Great to have you here!’ service quality programme designed to enhance the customer experience.
