AITO appoints new agents co-ordinator
AITO has appointed Lizzie Spearing as its new agents co-ordinator to replace Tara Gandhi.
Spearing was previously co-ordinator for the volunteer and intern abroad division of STA Travel, and she has also worked as a consultant at Flight Centre UK.
Her first tasks will be to attend the imminent AITO conference in Córdoba, handling AITO agent members’ renewals in August and being responsible for monthly e-blasts, promotions and incentives.
Executive director Kate Kenward said: "She’s arriving at a busy time, with the overseas conference a matter of weeks away, but jumping in at the deep end will help her to get up to speed very quickly indeed and the conference will mean she’s bang up to date with issues affecting the independent sector – a great start-point."
