AITO will run its first joint agents and operators conference in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius this summer.
Previously two separate conferences have been run for the two sectors of the travel industry but chairman Derek Moore said at this weekend’s Aito Agents domestic conference in the Midlands that the move to bring the two together was a natural step.
He said two thirds of Aito’s members sold through Aito Specialist Travel Agents and it made sense to run the two events in unison.
The destination of Vilnius was chosen for its short flying time of approximately two hours.
The conference will be held June 16-19.
