Alitalia goes to 1%
The Italian flag carrier is cutting commissions to 1% from next year.
In a statement Alitalia said: “In keeping with changes that are taking place within the travel industry, Alitalia wishes to inform that it has made the decision to reduce its basic agency commission to 1%, with the change becoming effective from 1st January 2004.”
It continued: “In this ever-changing industry, Alitalia will continue to focus on product enhancements and technological advances in order to meet the demands of trade partners as well as customers.”
