All Blacks rugby fans to be New Zealand tourism ambassadors
Tourism New Zealand is urging New Zealanders to become mini-ambassadors and promote the nation during the upcoming Rugby World Cup in Paris.
It is part of the first push to get overseas fans to start planning their travel for the Rugby World Cup here in 2011.
Tourism New Zealand is forming what it calls a “front-row club” of rugby enthusiasts from all over the world and hopes to use the online club to promote the country as a destination with far more to offer than just rugby.
It is also hoping New Zealanders who go to France will hand out promotional material to people they meet.
