Amadeus adds to e-Travel Management

Monday, 29 Sep, 2006 0

Amadeus has launched the latest release of its e-Travel Management tool for the corporate market.

The latest version includes a ‘guest traveller’ function enabling agents to book travel for visiting clients, temporary staff, job applicants and consultants without having to build up an entire profile.

The solution saves time and supports the growing trend in corporations employing temporary staff and consultants.

A further feature has been added to e-Travel Management allowing agents to prioritise elements of the corporate travel policy when booking hotels.

The system will then search for hotels based on the priorities rather than applying the whole policy.

In a separate move GDS rival Worldspan has given agents access to a raft of TUI brands through the Worldspan TourSelect technology. The deal only covers brands in Germany at the moment but the plan is for the complete portfolio to follow.
