Amadeus adds Yapta price tracking
Airfare and hotel price tracking platform Yapta has entered into an agreement to launch launch its Intelligent Price Tracking services on the Amadeus GDS.
The integration allows corporations that use Amadeus to utilize Yapta’s FareIQ and RoomIQ solutions.
Yapta’s technology is used by more than 7,000 companies, and the company touts more than $120 million in total combined savings tracking both airfare and hotel prices.
"Yapta has helped thousands of customers achieve their cost savings goals with no disruption to their travel program. Naturally, customers that utilize Amadeus as part of their global programs were anxious to extend the savings to those points of sale," said James Filsinger, president and CEO of Yapta.
The Amadeus GDS reaches more than 90,000 travel agency locations in approximately 200 markets worldwide and delivers access to 435 airlines and 280 hotel chains.
Yapta’s FareIQ solution tracks corporate airfares 24/7 and highlights opportunities to re-book tickets at lower prices.
It can automatically re-ticket without the need for third-party intervention.
Yapta’s hotel rate tracking tool RoomIQ monitors U.S. domestic and international hotel bookings, looking for rate reductions and delivers average savings of $109 per booking, it says.
