Amadeus Asia appoints airlines VP
Travel trade tech platform Amadeus Asia Pacific has named Cyril Tetaz as executive vice president – airlines.
Tetaz has spent more than a decade at Amadeus and is currently head of commercial for airlines in Asia Pacific.
He will continue leading growth strategy for the airlines business in Asia and begins in the new role next month, reporting to Julia Sattel, senior vice president, airlines.
He previously led Amadeus’ airline distribution marketing department and was also Regional director for airlines based in Japan.
"In Asia Pacific, growth goes hand in hand with a dynamism and complexity that makes this a region unlike any other. Cyril brings to the role not only an excellent track record and seasoned experience in the airline industry, but also a genuine commitment to putting our customers first," Sattel said.
Last year, 503 million passengers travelled from Asia Pacific on airlines using Amadeus’ passenger service systems Altea and New Skies.
