Aman to open fourth Japan resort
Hot on the heels of opening its latest luxury property in Kyoto, Aman has signed its fourth resort in Japan.
It is launching a resort in Hokkaido’s winter sports hotspot Niseko.
Scheduled to open in 2023, the Aman Niseko is an all-season retreat located on the slopes of Mt. Moiwa.
It will have 30 guest rooms and 31 branded residences.
Resort amenities include two pools, a two-storey kid’s club, restaurants, spa and wellness facilities.
The company claims it will be the first full spa and wellness resort in Japan.
Kerry Hill Architects is designing the resort and was responsible for Aman’s other Japan properties, Aman Tokyo, Amanemu and Aman Kyoto.
"Aman Niseko follows the recent and successful debut of Aman Kyoto. Aman Niseko is designed in harmony with its expansive surroundings," said Vladislav Doronin, chairman and CEO of Aman.
