Ambassador Cruise Line has strengthened its commitment to cricket in the UK, through strategic partnerships and events to elevate its brand among fans and sporting organisations.
As the Principal Partner of Essex Cricket and the Official Cruise Line Partner of Surrey County Cricket Club, Nottinghamshire Cricket Club and Warwickshire Cricket, Ambassador has positioned itself as a key supporter of the sport.
It aims to engage members, spectators and local communities through various initiatives.
Ambassador’s partnership with Essex Cricket dates back to 2022, and in that time the relationship has grown to becoming principal shirt sponsor for Essex’s Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign and sponsoring the Men’s, Women’s and Ability team’s One Day kit.
This comes in Ambassador’s brand colour of purple.
This three-year collaboration includes renaming Essex’s venue in Chelmsford as the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground.
Following the launch of the partnership with Essex Cricket, Ambassador now has similar agreements with Surrey, Warwickshire and Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.
Supporters and club members receive exclusive offers on Ambassador’s wide range of cruise itineraries alongside fan engagement experiences and interactive activities at each club’s respective grounds during domestic and international fixtures.
In addition, the cruise line receives brand and marketing exposure opportunities on matchdays as well as across each club’s social media channels.
Ambassador further strengthens its ties to cricket with experiences like the Cricket Legends Cruise, featuring appearances by icons such as Graham Gooch, Jonathan Agnew and Henry Blofeld.
The Surrey CCC Golf Day at Burhill Golf Club is another example of this synergy.
Playing alongside Surrey CCC Ollie Sykes, Ian Benjafield and Gordon Nardini plus Graham McKenzie of TravelMole were offered an opportunity to connect with a rising star while enjoying a premium golf experience.
