American Airlines ditching first class
American Airlines will phase out first class seating.
Chief Commercial Officer Vasu Raja said ‘first class will not exist on the 777, or for that matter at American Airlines ‘as weak demand doesn’t justify it anymore
“Our customers aren’t buying it,” Raja said on an investor call.
Instead, American will add more business-class seats
From 2024 American begins offering new Flagship Suite seats on long-haul Airbus and Boeing Dreamliner aircraft.
