American’s EMEA sales chief joins Cendant
Matthew Hall has moved from American Airlines after 11 years to join Cendant Travel Distribution Services.
He takes the role of vice-president airline business development EMEA responsible for Cendant TDS’s airline services team and a new consolidated air buying unit set up to negotiate fares with airlines in the UK for subsidiaries Travel2/4 and ebookers.
Hall was prevously managing director sales, marketing and reservations/customer service EMEA for the US airline in the UK.
Cendant’s international markets group vice-president supplier services EMEA Bryan Conway said: “Matthew brings strengths as a leader, strategic thinker and experienced negotiator that will be utilised as we move our relationships with airlines in EMEA to a new level to reflect the breadth of assets we can now offer them.”
