Anantara to open first hotel in Cambodia
Minor Hotel Group has announced the addition of its first property in Cambodia.
The group has acquired the Sothea Boutique Resort in Siem Reap, which will be rebranded to Anantara Angkor Resort & Spa later this year.
The 39-suite boutique resort is in Siem Reap, home to the UNESCO World Heritage Angkor Wat temples, Cambodia’s most visited destination.
It is also 10 minutes from Siem Reap International Airport and close to Angkor Wat and Siem Reap’s central district.
This latest addition to MHG’s portfolio takes the total number of properties to 95 in 14 countries.
Anantara is opening a hotel in Dubai this week and its first hotel in Africa before the end of the year.
