Anite appoints new finance director
Anite has appointed Christopher Humphrey Group finance director, with effect from 3 February.
Mr Humphrey replaces Simon Hunt, who resigned in September.
Mr Humphrey, aged 45, comes from Aspen Group Limited, where he acted as interim finance director during the sale of its main subsidiary to a US venture capitalist. Before that he was Group finance director of Critchley Group plc. He has also held senior positions in finance at Cadbury Schweppes, Conoco and Eurotherm International plc.
Anite Group chief executive, John Hawkins said of Mr Humphrey: “His experience of operating in a Group business structure similar to Anite’s means that he is well qualified to lead our finance function and to continue our focus on managing our assets and good housekeeping.”
Anite announced on 4 September that Group finance director and company secretary, Simon Hunt resigned to pursue other interests. Anite Group company secretary will continue to be Vivienne Hemming, and Neil Bass will stay on as Group finance controller.
