APT celebrates anniversary with agent incentive
River cruise and touring specialist APT next week celebrate its 95th birthday.
In honour of the landmark anniversary, it is offering its travel agent partners a special incentive of a £95 Love2Shop code for every booking made on 18 August.
Between the hours of 00:00 and 23:59 on 18 August, each APT and Travelmarvel booking made by the trade will be rewarded with £95 worth of Love2Shop vouchers
They are redeemable with most major retailers and attractions and restaurants, including Foot Locker, River Island, The London Bridge Experience, and Pizza Express.
Agents can also take advantage of APT’s Balcony Sale, with savings of up to 50% plus, for Travelmarvel guests, an upgrade to the best available cabin is also included.
APT was founded in 1927 as the result of a tram strike and the clever idea of a quick-thinking, young Australian man named Bill McGeary.
It quickly evolved and, as ‘Australian Pacific Coaches’, began branching out into leisure travel, creating day tours and themed weekends, such as trips to Sydney.
Still owned and run by the McGeary family today, APT continues to operate river and small ship cruises, adding exciting new destinations and vessels to its fleet.
Brad Bennetts, APT & Travelmarvel’s Head of Sales & Business Development, said: “That APT is celebrating its 95th anniversary is testament to the vision, innovation, and commitment of the McGearys.”
“We are thrilled to share this special moment with our valued travel agent partners.”
