APT encourages agents to use trade website
Unprecedented response to the Earlybird deals attached to the recently launched Canada & Alaska and Europe & Russia brochures is behind Australian Pacific Touring’s appeal to agents to use the trade website to make 24/7 live bookings, check availability, access e-brochures and download tour hints.
As a further incentive to travel agents, APT is running a competition where every online booking made before August 31 goes into the draw to win a Kimberley Wilderness Adventures trip for them and a friend.
The competition applies to any APT Group product booked by travel agents on the trade website – Australian Pacific Touring, APT World Discoveries, APT Kimberley Wilderness Adventures, APT Kangaroo Island Odysseys, Travelmarvel, Newmans Escorted Tours, Connections or Botanica World Discoveries.
APT General Manager Sales and Marketing, Chris Hall said the early release of European River Cruising combined with the release of Canada and Alaska Earlybirds had created a rush on APT telephone reservations.
“The response is unprecedented for us,” said Mr Hall. “We have had the agents’ website for 16 months, and in a peak season like this, the 24/7 online service can save agents a great deal of time.”
Most e-brochures produced by the Group are available on the site: www.aptgroup.travel
