APT World Discoveries upgrades in China
APT World Discoveries is introducing the 153-cabin Viking Century Sky on its Yangtze River cruises next year, on according to Australian Pacific Touring’s General Manager of Sales and Marketing, Chris Hall, the most modern and luxurious ship on the Yangtze.
All cabins feature floor to ceiling windows and private balconies.
In APT World Discoveries’ new 2007 China (Luxury Yangtze River Cruise & Hong Kong) brochure, the Viking Century Sky features on the 13 days Imperial China and Yangtze cruise (from $5,395 per person twin share) and the 17 days Treasures of China & Hong Kong package (from $6,995).
Prices include domestic airfares, cruising, sightseeing, hotels, most meals, excursions, cruising/touring and cultural shows.
Changes to the cruise package include an optional two nights Hong Kong extension while the Treasures tour now includes four night Yangtze cruise, two nights in Guilin and two nights in Hong Kong .
The packages are either three or four nights cruising downstream and include The Three Gorges (Xiling, Wu and Qutang) and shore excursions to the great dam site, the hanging coffins of the Lesser Three Gorges and the limestone wonderland of Snow Jade Cave .
Nights are spent in Shanghai , Suzhou , Guilin , Xi’an and Beijing and Hong Kong .
There are eight departures for both itineraries.
