Aquilium Travel taps Boodil for seamless payments
Payments fintech company Boodil has forged a partnership with Aquilium Travel, a premier luxury travel agency based in Cheshire.
Boodil’s travel payments platform, launched last year is designed to meet the needs of travel merchants.
It leverages Open Banking technology for a cost-effective and secure alternative to traditional card payments.
Boodil has already gained traction in the industry, securing partnerships with The Advantage Travel Partnership and a growing roster of over 150 travel companies.
By integrating Boodil’s Open Banking solution, Aquilium Travel can now shift a significant portion of its card payment processing volume to a more streamlined system it says.
Aquilium expects to save up to 75% on payment processing fees compared to conventional card methods.
Additionally, Boodil’s instant settlement feature ensures funds arrive immediately.
“Partnering with Boodil has been hugely beneficial for our business. Their Open Banking platform has not only reduced our costs but also simplified our payment processes,” said David Mayer, Managing Director, Aquilium Travel
The platform’s backend dashboard generates comprehensive transaction insights.
Key features include real-time status updates for payment links, automated scheduling of variable-amount payment links, split payment options, and instant notifications of completed payments.
Sam Owens, COO at Boodil, added: “Our partnership with Aquilium Travel exemplifies the transformative potential of Open Banking for the travel sector.”
