ARC’s latest report
ARC reported domestic fares were four percent below a year ago, averaging $679 million per week in June.
That figure was down from average weekly domestic fares in excess of $700 million since January of this year.
International fares, however, were the highest in three years, and only about two hundred million short of the all-time record international fares established in June of 2000.
ARC said:
“Average weekly sales per agency location remained strong in June exceeding average weekly sales a year ago by 18%.”
