Are your customers concerned about safety?
Nearly two thirds of British holidaymakers are concerned about the threat of terrorism, but the majority are still determined to travel, according to the latest Holiday Confidence Index from First Rate Exchange Services.
Of the 5,155 Brits polled, 46% said they have not made changes to their holiday destination because of terrorist acts and 57% said they are unlikely to change their holiday plans – 10% more than in winter 2015 and up 5% on spring 2015.
In our latest Mole Poll, we asked you, the trade, if you think safety on holiday an increasing concern for your customers?
The result wasn’t far off the findings of the Holiday Confidence Index:
61% of you said ‘yes’
39% or you said ‘no’
