Asiana heads for Jakarta, Denpasar
Asiana Airlines is launching a daily Jakarta-Seoul service and twice-weekly flights to Denpasar.
South Korea-based Asiana is launching A330-300 flights between Jakarta and Incheon on July 19.
Flights between Bali and Incheon by B767-300 will start on July 25.
On both Jakarta-Seoul and Denpasar-Seoul, Asiana will compete with Garuda Indonesia and Korean Air.
Indonesia and Korea recently renewed bilateral agreements, raising slots from Jakarta and Bali from 10 up to 23 flights a week.
About 300,000 South Koreans visited Indonesia last year.
