Atlantis Centre under construction
Greece and Mediterranean Travel Centre’s senior consultant Angelea Vassiliadis-Balaguer returned a few days ago from the Arabian Travel Mart in Dubai. She described ATM as an outstanding travel industry experience and was able to meet many principals from the Gulf states and the Middle East.
Angeleya has been to Dubai several times and was amazed at the rate of building and change in Dubai. “Tourism is booming and every day new hotels and attractions are being readied for the growing influx of tourists. Dubai is set to open the world’s biggest shopping mall in 2009 to add to this list of Dubai’s superlatives.
So rapid are the changes that last year’s Dubai city map is already out of date,†Angelya said. The Atlantis Centre is set to be one of the great attractions in Dubai with outstanding shopping, entertainment and hotel facilities.
As a result of Angelya’s visit Greece and Mediterranean Travel Centre will be preparing some big changes to its 2009 Dubai program and range of travel options. GMTC extends its thanks The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing for its excellent hosting of Angelya and other Australian travel professionals who attended the Arabian Travel Mart.
