Aussie regional carrier Skytrans inks Sabre distribution deal
Under a new agreement, Australian regional airline Skytrans is now distributing its content via Sabre Corporation’s global travel marketplace.
Under the new agreement, Skytrans’ fares and offers are accessible to Sabre connected travel agents to shop and book Skytrans flights, including new routes.
For Skytrans, it enables an expanded reach to travel agencies and corporate travel buyers across Australia.
It also strengthens Sabre’s presence in Australia.
“Choosing to join Sabre’s global travel marketplace is an important milestone for Skytrans, with the new addition of Sydney to Lord Howe flights and growing interest in our other destinations ,” said Paul Williams, Skytrans Revenue and Network Manager.
Skytrans provides flights between Cairns, Cape York and the Whitsunday Coast and the Queensland carrier will soon commence flying from Sydney to Lord Howe Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The airline is part of Avia Solutions Group has added a new Airbus A319 aircraft to its fleet.
