Austin plans F1 festival of fun
Circuit of The Americas, host to the Formula One United States Grand Prix, has planned an extensive lineup of interactive displays, live musical performances, racing-themed areas and more at Austin Fan Fest fueled by Shell.
The free, four-day interactive festival runs November 14-17
in downtown Austin and will include experiential exhibits by corporate partners working to extend the Grand Prix party to sports enthusiasts throughout race weekend.
Among the events, Infiniti Red Bull Racing will be showing off its F1 racecars in various places around the festival footprint.
Red Bull Racing and Pirelli, the official tyre supplier for Formula 1 racing, will also have racing simulators available for wannabe racers eager to test their driving skills.
Cadillac will feature the world’s fastest family of production cars at the Cadillac Cafe. Cadillac’s V-series was schooled on the Nurburgring, the famed Formula 1 circuit in Germany.
Fan Fest VIP four-day or individual day passes can be purchased on the event website.
A detailed event schedule, including performance times and line-ups for specific music stages, is available at www.austinfanfest.com.
