Australian travel firm seeks UK investors
An Australian travel marketing and fulfillment company is looking for UK investors or joint venture partners.
The Sydney-based Leapfrog Group claims a turnover of A$25 million in 2005-06 but wants investment to cement its position as a leader in online travel marketing, according to group managing director Brian Smilie.
He said: “We were previously a brand marketing company but we now ewant to use our skills, systems and content in the online world to support our own and partner brands and to do this we need an investor and I also believe that investor will come from the UK.”
Smilie added: “We are entering a new era for the company and by building on our tremendous experience as an airline holiday marketing and fulfillment company, we can consolidate our position as a leader in online travel marketing.”
The company employs 70 staff, having been established in Australia in 1997.
