Australian website scam
Tourism Australia has revealed that they have received information that about a bogus website scam that has been selling space on www.australiatourism.com.
It appers that the company attempts to sell space on the website by sending bills that offer free space.
However, the fine print outlines that this free space converts to a charge after a period of time.
Correspondence has been to industry in Australia and overseas.
Tourism Australia would like to state that they are not responsible for this site and have no affiliations with it at all.
Any issues need to be referred to the relevant Department of Fair Trading in the appropriate State or Territory.
