Australia’s first Mondrian hotel coming to Gold Coast
Australia is getting its first Mondrian branded hotel and residences.
Accor and sbe will introduce the Mondrian Gold Coast on the Burleigh Heads Beachfront in collaboration with Vitale Projects.
It will be made up of two towers with one comprising 89 residential apartments and the other housing the 208-room hotel.
The towers will be linked by a three-storey podium that forms the hotel and residences’ common space comprising a fitness centre, spa, restaurants, and swimming pools.
It marks sbe’s first hotel and residences in the Australia market.
"The Gold Coast has grown into one of Australia’s leading travel destinations and the opening of Mondrian Gold Coast is the next step in our strategic global expansion for the Mondrian brand," said Chief Operating Officer, Chadi Farhat.
It is part of a global expansion of the Mondrian brand with Accor, along with soon-to-be announced Mondrian hotels in the Dominican Republic, Germany, Maldives, Puerto Rico, Thailand and Vietnam.
