Avani Hotels to debut in China
Minor Hotels is set to debut its Avani Hotels & Resorts brand in China this year.
In association with joint venture partner Funyard Minor JV Co., Avani Huajian Xinyi Guangdong Resort and Avani+ Xinyi Guangdong Resort will be among the first international upscale hotels in Xinyi when they open in the first half of this year.
Located beside the River Huanghua, Avani Huajian Xinyi Guangdong Resort will have 86 rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, an AvaniFit gym and Xinyi’s first infinity sky pool.
Designed for families, Avani Huajian Xinyi will offer themed kids rooms.
Surrounded by a bamboo forest, Avani+ Xinyi Guangdong Resort is situated in the mountains above Ma’an Village.
In addition to 96 modern rooms and suites, the China resort will have all-day dining, a bar, an infinity pool, an AvaniFit gym and an AvaniKids club.
Some of the accommodations boast private balconies and pools.
Xinyi is a burgeoning ecotourism destination, surrounded by numerous natural attractions, including an alpine meadow, the largest bamboo forest in western Guangdong, a mountain lake and hot springs.
Close by is the 300-year-old Shiyin Ancestral Temple with a grove of over 30,000 century-old olive trees.
“These China resorts not only mark a significant milestone for Minor Hotels but also for the hospitality landscape in Xinyi,” said Mr. Dillip Rajakarier, Group CEO of Minor International.
Avani’s expansion continues in 2024 with further openings planned in Asia, Europe the Seychelles, and South and Central America.
