Avani unveils new Thailand resort
Avani Hotels has opened Avani+ Khao Lak, a 327-key oceanfront property in Thailand’s Phang Nga.
The brand’s largest resort in Thailand, it serves as a launch pad for AvaniFit — a new lifestyle concept aiming to put fun back into hotel fitness.
The 100,000-square-metre resort offers pools, family-friendly amenities and dining venues with Andaman Sea views.
Room categories range from Deluxe Lagoon Pool Rooms for couples and solo travellers to Family Pool Suites.
The resort’s AvaniFit is a 24-hour facility offering endurance and resistance training, aerobics and high-intensity interval training.
It comprises boxing, tennis classes, hanging yoga and an indoor or outdoor climbing wall.
“I don’t believe there’s a better way to celebrate the return of international travellers to Thailand. This is a destination on the up offering a sense of escape and rejuvenation thanks to its natural beauty,” said Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels and Minor International, parent company of Avani Hotels & Resorts.
Avani+ Khao Lak Resort is located 90 kilometres north of Phuket International Airport and can be reached by car in approximately 1.5 hours.
GHA DISCOVERY members enjoy one free night at Avani+ Khao Lak, Avani+ Mai Khao Phuket or Avani+ Koh Lanta when booking before 31 March 2022, and membership is free to join.
