Avianca to offer daily flights to Colombia
Colombia’s national airline Avianca is to increase the frequency of its London to Bogota service from four flights a week to seven.
The service, which was launched from Heathrow in July last year, currently operates every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
From this July the service will increase to daily following a 28% leap in UK visitor numbers to from the UK to Colomobia to 32,212 last year.
Flights are operated by 252-seat A330s and take 11 hours.
