Avis expansion continues
Avis Rent A Car System, which has opened 25 local facilities in the US since January, opened nine more outlets in the Midwest.
The new locations are in Illinois, Michigan and Ohio.
The car rental agency said the move was part of its commitment to expand into local markets nationwide.
“The local market in the Midwest is an area showing tremendous growth,” said Kathie Klopfer, vice president of off-airport development and licensee relations for Cendant Car Rental Group, parent of Avis.
