BA adds Jersey, Gibraltar flights from London City
British Airways is adding two new routes linking London City Airport with Jersey and Gibraltar.
BA CityFlyer will operate to both destinations twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays on Embraer E190 aircraft.
Initially for the summer, the routes begin on 25 June.
"It’s great to be able to launch these two new services to Gibraltar and Jersey – it’s something customers have been asking us to do for quite a while," said Tom Stoddart, Managing Director of BA CityFlyer.
It offers important air links for business, tourism and those visiting relatives as travel restrictions from the UK wind down, the airline says.
Fares start from £42 to Jersey and benefit from BA’s flexible booking policy.
British Airways will continue to operate its regular services to Jersey and Gibraltar alongside these new flights from London City Airport.
