BA announces new leisure routes
British Airways is to launch thrice-weekly services from Gatwick to Male, Maldives and to Sharm El Sheikh on October 25.
It is the first time BA has flown to the Maldives and starts on the same day as the airline axes its Gatwick to New York flights.
The Male and Sharm El Sheikh services will both be operated by Boeing 777 aircraft with a three-class configuration of World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World.
BA will launch a London City-New York service later this year.
