BA chairman to give ABTA Convention keynote speech
British Airways chairman Martin Broughton, also president of the CBI, is to deliver the keynote address at this year’s ABTA Travel Convention.
He is to set the scene and context for the convention in Gran Canaria which carries ‘innovation’ as its theme.
Broughton, former chairman of British American Tobacco, will give delegates an insight into innovation, reputation, risk and investment and how he sees the future of British business – while sharing the pressures facing the national carrier, according to ABTA.
The convention takes place on October 6-9.
