BA invests in Scotland ad campaign
British Airways has joined forces with VisitScotland to launch a television advertising campaign to promote Scotland.
The 30-second ad, which runs until April 20, features scenic views of Scotland and a BA aircraft.
BA said the campaign has been a joint approach between the British Airways sales and marketing team at Heathrow, Gatwick and London City, to "show its commitment to the market".
The airline is also backing the campaign with digital SEO support, and banners its own website promoting flight and holiday offers to Scotland.
VisitScotland chairman Mike Cantlay said: "We’re delighted to have BA onboard for our Year of Natural Scotland campaign. The South-East of England represents one of our biggest markets, with the airline already responsible for delivering tens of thousands of visitors each year.
"Hopefully by reminding people that we’re only an hour away this will entice even more people to come to Scotland for a relaxing break."
