BA shares fall back
There were mixed fortunes for travel and tourism shares yesterday as London’s equity markets had a difficult day.
While the FTSE 250 gained 1.2 points to close at 6087, the FTSE 100 dropped 30.8 points to close at 4459. Shares in British Airways dropped 4.5p to 244p despite a fall in the price of oil, as did Easyjet, down 2.25p to 146p, and Ryanair, down 4.03p to 278.78p.
