BA to fly A380 daily to Singapore
British Airways will fly the A380 daily on its Heathrow to Singapore route from winter this year.
The A380 already flies three times a week on the airline’s double-daily flight from London to Singapore.
This will increase to a daily service from December 14.
The winter A380 BA11 service will depart from Heathrow at 19:10 and the BA12 service will depart from Singapore Changi airport at 23:20 each day.
In addition, BA will be opening its newly refurbished lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 1 in summer 2015.
Stephen Humphreys, BA head of UK and Ireland sales, said: "Scheduling the A380 on the Singapore route on a daily basis signals our commitment to the route and the region."
The airline currently has nine super jumbos in its fleet flying to Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Singapore, Washington, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The A380 will also fly to Miami from October 25 and BA’s tenth A380 will arrive in November.
