BA to operate super-jumbo flights to Florida
British Airways is to operate super-jumbo flights from London to Miami next October.
The Airbus A380 will fly twice daily from Heathrow to the Florida city.
Director of strategy Lynne Embleton,said: "British Airways’ A380 services have proved to be really popular with our customers and we are confident that Miami will be equally successful as part of our Atlantic Joint Business with American Airlines, US Airways, Iberia and Finnair."
The service will operate out of Terminal 3, where BA is renovation and extending its check in areas and enhancing its baggage systems.
By next October, all BA Heathrow flights will operate out of Terminals 3 and 5.
