BA to relaunch flights to Tripoli
British Airways will resume flights to the Libyan capital Tripoli next week, the airline confirmed today.
It will start offering three flights a week from London to Tripoli from Tuesday, May 1.
Flights to Tripoli were suspended in February when a flight exclusion zone was set up to allow for foreign military intervention in the country’s civil war.
BA will also launch a new service from Heathrow to Bologna in Italy on Sunday, April 29. The service will be in addition to BA’s 20 flights a week to Bologna from Gatwick.
