Bangkok to get first Aman luxury resort
Luxury resort group is bringing its first hotel and residences to the Bangkok market.
The new build project, which will begin construction in the coming months, will be the second location in Thailand after the long established Amanpuri in Phuket.
Aman is collaborating with Nai Lert Group to develop the property which is slated to open in 2022.
Aman Nai Lert Bangkok is to be located in the central city parkland of the same name.
The hotel and branded residences will pay homage to the rich heritage and history of Bangkok.
It marks Nai Lert Group’s entry into the ultra-luxury hospitality segment.
"Thailand holds a special place in our hearts ever since the conception of Amanpuri, and our brand, in Phuket over 30 years ago," said Vladislav Doronin, chairman and CEO of Aman.
Amanpuri was the brand’s first resort and is now present in 22 destinations across the world.
Upcoming openings include Aman Kyoto this year, as well as Aman New York and Amanvari in Mexico during 2020.
