Barlow steps up at Carlson
Simon Barlow has been appointed president of Carlson Hotels, Asia Pacific, reporting to Hubert Joly, Carlson’s president and CEO.
He will be responsible for leading the growth strategy for Carlson’s hotel business in the region.
Over two decades, Barlow has had a range of growing regional responsibilities at Accor, Hilton International and more recently at Millennium and Copthorne Hotels, where he was senior vice president, Asia, and COO for the USA, based in Singapore.
He replaces Jean-Marc Busato who will become area vice president, Carlson Hotels, Latin America based in Mexico City.
