Barrhead Travel launches VIP chauffeur service
Barrhead Travel is launching a complimentary VIP chauffeur transfer exclusively for its luxury cruise customers.
Officially launching in mid-March, the door-to-door VIP pick-up will be exclusively reserved for luxury cruise customers based in Scotland who are embarking on a six-star ocean, yacht or river cruise.
The service is available to all of Barrhead Travel’s clients across the UK and has also been rolled out to subsidiary brands including Cruise Direct and The Cruise Specialists.
Clients will be treated to a door-to-door pick up service in an executive vehicle. The service also comes with itinerary tracking and full airport chauffeur assistance including luggage handling.
Barrhead Travel president Jacqueline Dobson said the service ‘represents our commitment to providing a truly end-to-end offering for our luxury clientele who are seeking seamless and quality experiences’.
She added: "Luxury cruise and river cruise is a significant growth area for Barrhead Travel. For 2019 departures we are currently trading 10% up compared with last year and anticipate continued growth over the coming year.
"As such, we are focussing on enhancing our luxury product range and services and have several new initiatives due to launch in 2019."
Barrhead Travel currently has a dedicated luxury division, which includes specialists in each store and a boutique shop in Glasgow city centre, complete with private cabanas and events space.
