BCD Travel acquires Indian firm
Travel management company BCD Travel has expanded its operations in India with the acquisition of A.V. Tours and Travel based in Hyderabad.
The deal for of A.V. Tours and Travel, which recorded over $7 million in sales in 2006, represents a major expansion for the company in the growing Hyderabad market. Venkatesh Muthigi, managing director of A.V. Tours and Travel, will join the senior management team of BCD Travel in India.
