World Tourism Day, designated by the World Tourism Organisation for the main purpose of fostering awareness of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value, is being celebrated in Sydney this Thursday with free event you are all welcome to attend.
This year’s host country is Sri Lanka and the theme is ‘Tourism Opens Doors for Women.’
The International Institute of Peace through Tourism is organising the event and Daphne Lowe–Kelley of IIPT says that everyone, travel industry, colleagues, students and travellers, are most welcome on the very important day for world tourism.
