Be an online movie star and get free chocolate
A call has gone out for people to join in a ‘flashmob’ event at the Novotel EXCEL on March 15 to launch a 10k race in aid of The Springboard Charity.
The charity provides education and support services to help young people, the unemployed and disadvantaged groups prepare for work in the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industry.
The March 15 event will launch the 2012 Hotelympia 10K race, which has a target of 2012 runners.
The organisers are calling for 500 people to come along at 11.30am (for 12 noon) and to give 90 minutes of their time to make a move that will be streamed online to encourage entries.
Those who turn up will get a free T shirt to wear and a goodie bag, inclding some Cadbury’s chocolate.
The first 200 participants who register online at www.hotelympia10k.com will have their T-shirt and goodie bag secured.
Launch event participants will also get the chance to meet Olympic hopeful Conrad Williams, our 2012 Hotelympia10K ‘Face of the Race’.
