Bedsonline unveils new website and brand refresh

Bedsonline unveiled a new-look to its trade partners at an event in London this week and also updated them on the integration of the recently-acquired GTA and Tourico Holidays.

The Palma-based bed bank, which is part of Hotelbeds Group, also celebrated its 10th anniversary.

Tom Bell, regional manager North-Central UK & Ireland, said the group’s new tagline ‘your 360° travel partner’ reflects that it has ‘all angles covered’.

He said the group was expanding its sales team in the UK from eight to 12 people from next month.

Some of the additional staff have come from GTA while one was being recruited from outside the business.

Bell said GTA’s retail brand, Travel Cube, would run simultaneously with the bedsonline brand ‘for a period of time’ but there were plans for a migration longer term.

He said the group would also be focusing on increasing its exclusive deals with hoteliers. Currently standing at 3,000, it was aiming to add 1,000 a year in the next few years.

In total, the bed bank features 170,000 hotels globally, with over 90,000 of those directly sourced.

It also features 24,000 transfer routes and 18,000 activities, plus 140,000 cars available for hire.
