Best value family stays at Lindeman
Club Med Lindeman Island is offering a ‘Family Reunion’ package to encourage those planning a group holiday with their loved ones to visit the World Heritage listed island in the Whitsundays.
The ‘Family Reunion’ package includes a complimentary family picnic overlooking the Whitsunday islands, room upgrade for the trip organiser and spouse, an exclusive fun family challenge with activities, a family photo with souvenir print, and a pre-reserved dinner at the resort’s fine dining restaurant.
Club Med general manager Heidi Kunkel says Lindeman Island is a popular choice for family holidays because there is something to appeal to everyone.
“Kids love Club Med’s circus school and all the activities they can do at Lindeman Island and parents also prefer Club Med because they have peace of mind knowing the kids club is staffed by qualified childcare professionals,” Ms Kunkel said.
“More extended families are choosing to holiday together as it’s a great opportunity to spend quality time together away from the hectic pace of their day-to-day lives.
“Some family members will spend their time relaxing by the pool, or enjoying water sports while others take walks through the island’s parkland or improve their golf taking advantage of the expert tuition offered at the village’s nine-hole golf course.
“With Club Med’s all-inclusive packages they can relax and enjoy the resort facilities, activities, gourmet meals, snacks and drinks without a bill at the end which is very popular.”
To take advantage of the ‘Family Reunion’ package simply book a group of 15, with a minimum of eight adults, by 31 October for travel before December 23rd 2007.
The booking must be made directly with Club Med by calling Groups Department on 1800 686 289.
For smaller family groups, Club Med also offers a ‘Kids Stay Play and Eat Free’ seven-night package valid for bookings made by 31 July for travel by 31 October 2007.
Club Med’s packages are the most inclusive available with flights, accommodation, three gourmet buffet meals daily, all-day bar and snacking menu, nightly entertainment, transfers, and taxes all included.
A new Baby Welcome service is available for children up to 23 months and Petit Club Med also enables parents of two and three year olds to enjoy their holiday time too.
